Ripple CTO David Schwartz will attend the Stanford Blockchain Conference 2020, delivering a presentation. Representatives of Ripple often appear at various important events related to this or that blockchain. Ripple employees talk to them about the importance of crypto technologies, as well as make interesting presentations and give interviews about specific Ripple projects, and about the features of the blockchain as a whole. One of the latest events featuring Ripple was the World Economic Forum in Davos, where Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse was present. Ripple CTO David Schwartz will now take part in Stanford Blockchain Conference 2020, presenting his report.
Ripple CTO David Schwartz attends 2020 Stanford Blockchain Conference: Details
Ripple CTO David Schwartz will attend the 2020 Stanford Blockchain Conference, presenting his talk on “The best incentive is not an incentive.” Details of the report of the representative of Ripple are not currently known, however, it is likely that the topic will concern the development of blockchain in the world. The 2020 Stanley Blockchain Conference will be held February 19-21, and a Ripple representative will speak on its third day.
It is also indicated that the Ripple CTO is on the program committee of the event. The conference itself discusses methods for designing security and risk management in blockchain systems. The site notes that the organizers are interested in using cryptography, decentralized protocols, formal methods and empirical analysis to increase security or reduce risks when deploying blockchains. The creators of the Stanford blockchain conference seek to develop interdisciplinary cooperation between practitioners and researchers in the development of blockchain protocols, cryptography, distributed systems, secure computing, cryptoeconomics, and the analysis of technical and economic risks.
It is worth noting that the event has already been held three times before, in 2017, 2018 and 2019. A Ripple representative will be participating here for the first time. However, the invitation of the Ripple CTO to such an important conference as a whole can mean an even greater degree of trust in Ripple and its projects, and, accordingly, the recognition of its talents in the blockchain sphere. It was previously known that Ripple Xpring named the advantages and features of the XRP Ledger validator.
